The Duke of Marlborough might be a community-owned affair, boosted with volunteer staff, but it boasts professionally run kitchens headed up by our top chef Aaron Douglas.   Aaron and his team serve great value, locally sourced meals  freshly cooked to order.   A range of pub classics and seasonal specials – the best of British cooking!  Dishes like crisp fried fish and chips, stacked burgers, pies and steaks can usually be found on the menu.   In addition there is always a vegan option and we do gluten free options as standard.

The kitchens are open Wednesday night for supper, Friday/Saturday for lunch and supper, and a long lunch service on Sunday from 12pm on Sundays till 4pm.  We also do breakfasts on Saturday mornings every other week from 8.30am.   Our opening hours are set out on our home page but generally lunch is served from 12pm, and supper is available from 6pm.

Wednesday evenings are event nights and feature either a quiz, open mic or a special food theme night.    The best place way to see what’s on are our Instagram or Facebook page for latest news.

We source eggs from Gate Farm Eggs in Flowton, and meat and game are sourced locally, as far as possible.  Most of our meat is supplied by M & M at Stowupland. Buying local ensure food is fresh as possible and it means that we can support other businesses in the local area.
